Post: RE: AC vent to nowhere, moldy drywall

If the drywall side is unconditioned space, or outside the normal thermal envelope of the system, yes, it should be insulated.

Post: RE: wiring/conduit question

The unused conductors will count against your box and pipe fill. How handy would another 120 over there be?  Considering the little bit of extra work and cost, I might be inclined to do that in the sa...

I would run one conduit with 2 reds, 2 blacks, 2 whites and green. An ohmmeter would allow you to match a red and black and white in a heartbeat. Why are you running neutrals?

It’s not just fuel costs Tom, the cost of the wasted water should be included.

Drainage and venting will have zero impact on flush valve performance. Water quality can impact the life of internal components, IMO worse than the same components from years ago. There is also the “ ...

Practically speaking, no.  Better to contain said waste in a bucket and simply let it evaporate.  Not always easy but better than dumping it down the sewer.

Historically, all those types of systems have proven to have higher than average incidence of problems. After almost 45 years of fixing them, I'll pass.

That is not a simple condensation problem. It’s either an airflow problem, a refrigerant problem or both. Shut it off. It needs to defrost before a tech can properly diagnose the issue.

I’m wondering about a lack of stiffness in 2x8 10s. There should be little give in that span. Spongy from a lack of sheeting I can buy. Are these on 24” centres?

Why? What harm if a trickle of water runs down the siding of the shed? Space the ledger off the shed a bit and silicone the seam from the top. It’s a lean to, not an addition on your home.
