IME....when using Transtint dye small livestock syrenges from the farm store work great for measuring and getting repeatable results. Their cost is minimal....and take good notes on your mix. Easier...

This is for a cutting board..I've always used TB2 to be safe. Didn't throw away much and didn't buy much...lol. Have enough of them out there it's not a high demand item anymore. Ed

Use the Minwax wipe on poly, apply with a clean rag (old t-shirt). Steel wool between coats to smooth it up, wipe with a clean rag, wipe again with a tack cloth. Ed

It should fit the Jet, no promises. My PM 15hh has a Byrd head from the factory. My 8" PM jointer has a clone, it still uses the same inserts. Ed

IF you can get it, I would use Deft lacquer and brush it on, its self leveleing. Problem is, it stinks for a few days. Ed

Iirc, the Jet and Powermatic jointers use a Byrd clone (same insert). Mine works great. Ed
