A year or so ago (when I had no use for it) I saw a thread here or a magazine article somewhere on how to make a simple grinding jig for plane irons, chisels, etc. It was all wood, I believe, but had comments on how to find the right angles, etc. Have searched the last few days but to no avail.

Does anyone remember it or know where to find it?

It would be pretty easy to make a knock off of the Veritas jig.
