Interior Door Advice
#5
I hope this is the right forum. I have to replace a couple of 4 and 6 panel pine/doug fir interior doors in my 1940's era house. No luck finding replacements and I don't want to replace them all. I'm looking for advice on the possibility of building my own. I don't have a shaper but do have a PC 7518 that should be able to swing large bits.Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated. Anybody have any experience with Sommerfeld router bits? Are they any good?

Thanks,
Andy K.

Have you checked Habitat ReStore and other similar salvage places?
