For some reason I've always kept my eye on a 1594K for times I don't want to pull out my 8" planer or hand plane but price has been an issue.
Yesterday I was in Menards and saw the 1594K for $120 and the new replacement model PL2632K for $160 (plus they both are have 11% Menards rebates).
I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the older 1594K and it's replacement the PL2632K. I can see the fence attachment is different (looks cheaper made on the new one).
