I have a collection of different sized circular items to use for anything under an old 45 record. I find the smallish stuff bothersome to use a tool to draw out, much easier to circle around an appropriate size, and sometimes shape, especially curves. Now I will use a divider if I need to set them in some particular order, or pattern, width apart, etc etc.
Truly for just cutting out a circle, I'll usually go straight to the cutting and use the BS.
