I just sold a Rockwell TS and I took my belt off sms put it on mine. Like a moron I don't note the size. I figure I will try a link belt. Are the green ones from HF decent? Here's is my saw.

The HF green link-belts seem to work as well as the red ones from
a different source. At least for me. Have some of both on my
machines and they all work just fine for the last five/ten years or
so. YMMV.

When I put the link belt on my table saw I also replaced the cast pulleys with machined steel pulleys. In-Line Industries sells the belt and the machined pulleys as a set.
I saw your link after I purchased the HF one. Thanks...i may change the pulleys since this one doesn't really seem to fit like I assumed it should. I have not put it under load yet to cut anything so maybe it is fine...just certainly looks too big.

That's interesting. Is the model number of your table saw 36-441? If this is the model number, the part number of the V-belt that came with the saw is 49-034. This is a 1/2" wide x 44" long belt. The specs on the Harbor Freight belt indicate it's a 1/2" wide x 5 feet long belt. Does your Harbor Freight belt measure 1/2" wide?
I wouldn't rush to change pulleys. Looking at the picture in the manual for the 36-441, the motor pulley appears to be machined steel not cast. The parts diagram shows the other pulley is a split pulley. You could try calling Fenner to find out which link belt they recommend for your saw. Also, call In-Line Industries and ask if their link belt fits your saw and if they recommend changing pulleys.

I found the following comment on a YouTube video.
"The HF belt is wider than the Fenner. It's really a 9/16. It rides too high out of a 1/2" pulley. They are trying to make a belt that will function in both 1/2" and 5/8" pulleys."
If you watch these two videos, you can see that the red Fenner belt sits lower in the pulley than the Harbor Freight belt.
