It does not. I have a Glenn Drake with this feature, but it is not something that I find myself using in practice.

I usually buy a product offered by a member as friendly support when they are getting going. I have an early red anodized frame saw. Here is my painful take- it does what such a saw should do without any flaw in performance. It is lovely to view and hold. It does not saw any better than the other copers I have- just bent steel and various ways to hold and adjust the direction and tension of the blade
THE GOOD NEWS--One of the things I use a coping saw for is cutting intricate mother of pearl inlays for guitar fretboards and headstocks. And, guess what; I always reach for the Knew Concepts saw and enjoy a delicate task because I trust it.
