Vintage Craftsman Jack Plane. This was manufactured by Millers Falls. It is stamped 5CBB. The plane is in very good condition. Japanning about 80%. Some of the nickle plating has flaked off on the lever cap. There is a slight amount of pitting in the front of the plane, on the chip breaker, and near the front of the mouth. This does not degrade its performance.
I have ground and sharpened the blade to 25 degrees with a 30 degree micro-bevel. It is razor sharp and ready to use. There are no chips or cracks in the tote and knob. The Craftsman decal is (mostly) intact on the tote.
