I made a few turnings as gifts thought I would post them
walnut and cherry nut bowl, seems like I make on every year
Deer antler letter opener
The Cherry pig banks I made earlier this year
That inspired me to make them smaller as ornaments
one apple Yorkshire and two Cherry Duroc

I forgot all about you making these. I KNOW for sure my grandkids would love to get one.

I use the lathe index to lay out where the legs,eyes, and ears are placed . I also drill the leg holes on the lathe, and turn the legs with dowels to glue them in.
