There is currently a show of Charles Radtke's work at the Milwaukee Art Museum. From the pictures I thought it would be interesting, but seeing the work in person was fantastic. I strongly recommend the show to anyone interested in furniture.
His technical proficiency is impressive, but his eye is the amazing thing. You can't really tell from the photographs how the subtle compound curves and many other details contribute to the overall effect.
