Out of round mortise's

I am late to this thread.

We are woodworkers. We work with wood, and not epoxy, which may flex, crack, etc and not hold up.

Drill out the unround mortice with a forstner but, and then glue in a filler piece. You may need to turn this to size. Now drill the correct size mortice.

If the holes are really sloppy loose then consider 3M 5200 adhesive.  Its sort of a caulk so the joint needs to be pretty loose to start with so the adhesive can fill out.  Work with gloves.  Takes several days to cure properly.
