I had horse stall mats in my frame shop. 3/4" and tough enough for horses to walk on. Good insulation. No installation cost. It is probably more expensive than the drycore though. Easy on the feet.

The interlocking 2' x 2' is $2.08 per square foot.

The 4' x 6' mats are $51.12 each.
