can't clean windows

Wow, guys, overwhelmed with the wisdom, from the school of hard knocks and trial and error (seems to be the only valuable way for me to learn anything...).

The ammonia and dawn mixture got me a lot further but some solvent use seems to be next up.

I'll keep you posted.

FWIW: had a box of Mr Clean Magic Eraser in the truck.
Used it dry on the inside of the windshield—works great!
