The Supermax is a great machine. Dust collection is superb.

I had a Performax 16/32 drum sander. Worked satisfactorily, but found that swapping grits to be a damned nuisance and finally sold it and replaced it with a Powermatic 16/32 belt sander which I love.

My 1066z double drum is 10x nicer/beefier/ridgid than my performax 22/44 pro was.
I'd trade the 1066z for even a cheap 37" widebelt no contest.
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.
