The dowel drill is set for 8mm diameter which is not stocked locally. The 0.315" diameter is a good size for 3/4" plywood.
I first went to California Dowel, but they had a $50.00 minimum which would have required that I purchase 10,000 dowel pins. I would have a hard time using that many dowels.
I did find a vendor for smaller quantities (1,000 @ $14.00). With shipping and tax it comes to $24.00.
the 1,000 dowels will probably last me a life time.
