I got a Stanley 70 box scraper off ebay and the guy stiffed me on the thumb screw (even though it was shown in the pics).  Anyone happen to have a spare one laying around?

Try contacting the seller and ask them where it is. If that doesn't work contact eBay and file a complaint, they will sort it out.

What's the thread size/pitch?   Is it a common modern standard size?

You realize, I trust, that you've got the handle on the wrong side of the tool.

I found the thumb screw after all. As for the handle, I didn’t know it was on the wrong side, but I probably would have figured it out after a while, Thanks for the tip though.
