I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the Incra 1000 HD. I have 3 table saws. A Bosch 10" job site saw, a Dewalt 10" job site saw, and my unisaw. I have 1 Incra and plan to order 2 more. Each saw will have it's dedicated miter gauge. I have made sleds for all of these saws, and the Incras will make them pretty much obsolete. Making lap joints in 3/16" X 3/16" material, is close quarter work. The Incra made it simple and easy. If there is a better miter gauge out there, I would like to hear about it.

There are actually several excellent after market miter gaiges available, and each one has it's share of fans. I have an Incra, and have found it to be just what I need...but I'm fairly certain some of the other would be just as good.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

I have the 1000SE and use it on my SS PCS - equally as pleased. Wouldn't want to do without it.

P.S. My experiences with Incra with both their products and services have been very positive; great company to do business with IMO.

Has anyone compared the 1000SE with JessEm Mite-R-Excel II?

I have this one:

Very similar to Incra at a bit less cost. For me, it works just fine. I added a wood sliding fence to it.

I received a new Incra 1000 HD today. The miter bar was bent up and down, right out of the box. Going back to the jungle.
