Already done. 3 seasons ago I plumbed in a separate spigot for the pool.  It has its own, smaller filter.   This summer I took a 1" line off the main water line before it goes under the foundation and use that for all the garden watering.  I hoped that would resolve the problem.  It didn't seem to make a difference.
