That's the last thing I will post about this.
My guess is that we probably share most of the same views on Canada, except that we are treating them badly. I see this situation as purely a "part of the deal" when it comes to trade negotiations, nothing more. I previously shared my views on Rob Lee and Lee Valley - those haven't and will not change.

Anyone who thinks the past relationship between the two countries will return once the tariff war is over is either joking or is not thinking deeply.
Many Canadians I know see the unprovoked attack as betrayal. They felt insulted when they were treated the same as Mexicans on the trade side. Not to mention bogus reasons were used as justifications for those tariffs as far as Canadians are concerned.
