These are a great product for coloring things like tops or other small turnings. Unfortunately when coloring a textured surface the pens deteriorate fairly quickly. The ten pack is just over 20 bucks on Amazon so at 2 dollars apiece that gets expensive.
Also, I tend to use only three or four of the colors. Sharpies don't last at all. I've tried just using a small brush but as yet I don't really like the results. Any other options out there?

I like to use walnut oil as a finish although I do occasionally use Deft of CA.
I have had a terrible time with the walnut oil poisoning my marking pens if the oil has not had a long, log time to dry. As in, sharpies and ballpoint gel pen quit writing forever if I use them on a fresh walnut oil finish.
Will the Staedtler Marsgraphic Duo brush pens work for me?
Any other good recommendations?

Arlin, I do a bit of airbrushing and have a nice Badger Anthem 155. I also have this Iwata knockoff.
Master G233 Airbrush. For the money that is an excellent little airbrush and has several features my Badger does not have. I've never heard of pushing CA glue through one though. Lots of moving parts with very tight tolerances and unless I'm mistaken super glue does stick to metal. Seems about the fastest way to ruin an airbrush I could think of.

I agree with SteveK, don't see how you could possibly airbrush CA and would ruin the airbrush.

+1 on Yak's recommendation. Mine have lasted 7 years and counting. I even forgot them in the unheated shed for a couple winters.
I'm slow, but I do poor work.

I seen the Master when I did my search but was not to impressed with it, however, if I had to use it for 1 or 2 times I would get it for sure.
There is a guy in our turning club who has used his air brush for years spraying CA glue thru it and he said no problems just spray Acetone thru it and do a good cleaning every few weeks and it stays in great shape.
However, I am always up for enlightenment on any subject.
