Friend needs a plan in order to build an access and sitting deck for an 18 foot round pool.
We've looked on line, such as pool decks dot com, but nothing pops out at us.
We just want a nice, simple plan....
Any help out there?

He can't lay it out himself?
check troublefreepool.com, if plans aren't there folks on the forum can help design it.

When I built by deck for a 28" pool I made pie shaped sections. I made 8 sections that were 3' wide at the narrowest. Every thing is cut at 22.5°. The section are bolted together and then decked. Add a railing and you're done. It can be unbolted if you ever need to replace the liner.

That actually is interesting. The next pool I am going to do something similar. The framing will be done to correspond to the length of the pool top rail sections.
