I got my new sander all set up and it runs nicely with the sanding drums but it vibrates badly when I use the belt sander.
Is this common? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.

Check to see that you have the cogs engaged properly and the small end has a tab that fits in a slot, make sure that is in.
Otherwise, return it for another

Replace the sanding belt with a new one. I had the same issue with my belt/disc sander and a new belt solved the problem, YRMV.

YRMV???
I checked that it was properly assembled and replaced the belt and still have vibration. Guess I gotta make another trip to Home Depot.
