The Dewalt 7790 ras, I just got had a couple of good ideas.
2 strips of wood epoxied to the arm top to hold a bench brush. Very handy.
The bolt sticking out of the top of the arm near the outer end, was for 2 struts, the orig. owner/seller installed, to take out the deflection in the arm. The saw was mounted to a built in long bench, and struts attached to the wall.
He is a cabinet maker, and before he got his sliding ts he used the ras for a lot of cuts. He never moved it from 90 degrees.
