Type 11 No. 7 Stanley plane in very good condition. The knob and tote are solid and have been refinished. The sole is nice and smooth, without rust or pitting, and has been flattened. So has the face of the the frog and the back of the blade. In other words, most of the work of fettling has been done with this plane. Except for honing the blade, this plane is ready to go. Many people, myself included, believe the type 11s (1910-1918) to be the best of the old Stanleys. Among its features are the low knob in the front, a frog adjusting screw, and a frog that's solid along the whole face against which the iron rests. Please note that the iron is not the original that came with the plane; it's a later Stanley and was replaced by some previous owner. $80 plus shipping (10 lbs. from 60637).
