I have several carving tools for sale. When it comes to carving I know very little. so here are the numbers of the Hirsch tools.I have all of them in one picture but since I have some doubles I will break then up into sets. I listed them by the number that is on the actual carving tool.
3358 carving knife set two 3358 carving
3206-12 3239-04
210-10 3206-12
3239-04
3206-12
3239-08
a leather strap, finger guards, and a red and blue lapping bars Asking $75 plus shipping for set one and $25 for set two.
It looks like I have one to maney listed I will straighten it out tomorrow PM me if interested and I will get right and adjust the asking price.
Next is a #78. It is a craftsman and if it didn't say craftsman I would swear it was a Stanley. even says Stanley on the lever cap. The japanning is all but perfect, It is all there and in great condition. It has been precision ground and blade is the same width as the body. I have had times when I had to work from both sides of the plane and it is the pits if the blade is tow wide. Don't let the name fool you it was made by Stanley and it wasn't cheapened. Asking $55 plus shipping.
I have a Bailey 51/4. I would be a nice plane for a child. The knob and tote have been refinished and the japanning is 95% except for one spot pictured. It has been precision ground and is flat with in .0015.
Asking $85 plus shipping.
Thanks for looking,
Tom
I decided to add a precision ground block plane to the mix. I like this style lever cap much better than the cam lock, a vast improvement. It has been stripped and repainted. It has the adjustable mouth and I sharpened this one. asking $50 shipped conus.
Thanks again for looking,
Tom
