Made in Italy. Tools for Working Wood is selling them in slim and x-slim tapers. They say their corners are more acute (smaller arris), and that allows more control when sharpening. Anyone have experience with them?

I have not tried those particular files, but the "Made in Italy" Grobet needle files have been holding up well for me. Obviously, one would wonder who is actually making the Grobets in Italy.

Can't help you with the saw files, however I own a couple of their rasps and absolutely love them. By far the best rasp I have ever used. I bought them straight from the company a couple of years ago. Rasps were reasonable but the shipping was a bit high.
