Greetings,
I have picked up a very old Millers Falls No. 5. The "chambered" main handle is a lovely true rosewood item, so I'd like to keep this eggbeater drill for personal use.
I do have 2 deficiencies to deal with...
(1.) The entire side-knob (detachable threaded item, concentric with the Main Gear) is missing. Would anyone know the typical thread size for this knob?
(2.) The gear-knob (near perimeter of main-gear) is missing; but its unthreaded post remains. Not to worry, I like a challenge like that for generating a "split turning...." like below on a brace I once repaired....
Any thoughts on question (1.) are appreciated!
