This is a 7/8" skew dado by Auburn Tool Co., Auburn NY.
It is Auburn's No. 177.
Mr. Gaddis was proud of this plane. It is made from a nice piece of beech.
The adjustable depth stop works perfectly, and it has a nice knurled knob.
The plane is ready to use; I tested it on a piece of poplar.
The knickers could use more attention. You do need to drag this plane backwards to score the sides of the dado before plowing away the waste. Check on-line if you don't follow what I wrote.
I'd like $40 plus shipping. I'm in Hollywood, MD 20636.
