I have been considering upgrading my router table lift and router. I was thinking of getting Porter-Cable 7518 but I just saw an announcement that JessEm has introduced a new router called the Pow-R-Tek™ designed for Router tables and CNC machines. "15 amp, 3-1/4 hp motor with soft start, electronic variable speed control (10,000 to 21,000 rpm) and a digital; easy to read display on the remote control power box."

I'm intrigued.
