John we are different in location to a shipping point. Walnut is here, hardly any transportation cost. For us Sapele is up where some folks are saying Walnut is if not local. In this type of discussion I routinely see import wood prices much lower with proximity to a coast, or shipping ports. All imports are too expensive for me to get excited about them, except for small quantities to use as a trim/accent. Low prices are 8 bux a bd/ft upwards to really pricey.
