Advice on Linux

I'm going pretty fast now.

Went to "about:config" and reconfigured some firefox and cache sessions then went to "about:memory" and freed up FF memory using the "GC" button.
BIG difference.
Firefox was the problem for the most part. I know, I know, but I like firefox.

I have nothing against Firefox per se. I started with Chrome because I used to use multiple different systems more regularly than I do now, and Chrome sync was much better (FF only had an add-on) at keeping my bookmarks and other data updated across devices. Also, FF didn't (maybe still doesn't) exist for IOS devices.
