The wife has asked me to build our bedroom set and make it look “rustic”. Almost everything in our house I’ve done with cherry. I love working with cherry, finish With Waterlox and done.
I’m wondering what some of you might be doing to get the rustic look. What wood are you using(most looks like it’s pine). What type of distressing and finishing are you using. I’ve did a farmhouse table for a customer once and did distress it using some fun methods(chains and a 1x with nails attached to it) but I’m stuck on getting a good color/look to it. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
