I'm thinking about picking up the Primus English pattern jack plane in S&S. Can folks share thier likes/dislikes with wooden Jack olanes?

If you actually use your jack plane for roughing down stock, you'll love the wooden version. If you use machines for that, you'll prefer the ease of use of iron planes.

In my humble opionion having tried both.
