Dealers in Mall cubbies, on Craig's, even the Bay see the "SOLD" notice on a piece of junk at hundreds of dollars and ignore the average sale price. They don't see the scammer's reposting, seeking a new sucker. Then, again, if I paid for something I'd like to recover the cost; even get a profit.
McFeely's did the same thing on some normal dowelling. To my inquiry, they said "that price was not in error." I buy nothing from them now.
