False drawer front thickness?

Normally the drawer fronts match the doors in how much they stick out in front of the face frames.  That's what I would go for.  Glue or not to glue??  That's up to you but normally I don't glue them - just an extra step that I might have to undo; never know.  As for the drawer thickness.  While I normally use 1/2 my brother uses 5/8".  I like his since he only uses solid wood and I use plywood.  My stuff is not up to his quality - but he does it for a living.
