Yup! Several years ago I caught myself in the midst of a rip cut without my safety glasses on. I guess I had set them down to get a clearer look at something and then neglected to put them back on.
Kinda freaked me out, so I wrote that down in several places as a reminder. Never found myself not using safety glasses in the middle of an operation since.
