Hello,
I decided to join the fray here.. I am not new to woodworking as I have
been interested in it as a hobby for many years.
My wood of choice these days is Water Tank Redwood and Purple Heart.
The tank wood I mentioned I had reclaimed form old growth material salvaged from
community water tanks that I received over the years. Lucky me-
I look forward to hearing and seeing various projects from the members here and learning new tricks.

Welcome aboard, always good to see new folks!
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

I never figured out why it does this: I can see the pictures in the quoted part of the editor if I click the Reply button for your posts, but I cannot see them in your post.
My guess is that I will not be able to see them once I post this reply.
Great explanation of some unique wood and some most excellent use of it.
Thank you.
