It's nearly impossible to define a style from one simple curve. That could be indicative of Shaker (rare, but not uncommon), Art Nouveau, or Early American. You would need to see an entire piece.

Heirlooms are self-important fiction so build what you like. Someone may find it useful.

The cyma curve and its variations have been around a long time in various applications from architectural form to interior design.
