I have had one for the past few years and only did re-sawing on it. It works great for that. I want to do band saw boxes and wondering about any gotchas with a 1/8" blade in this saw. Any insight you may have from those that have a 14 Twelve using a 1/8" blade would be helpful. TIA
I cut it three times & it's still too short!

Laguna makes Mini Guides item #ABMG001 that they sell for $150.00. They're designed for 1/16 - 3/8 wide blades. Here is a link.

You're welcome!
I have a 14BX and the narrowest blade I've ever used is 1/4".
The stock guides were fine for that but I think it would be a good idea to get those guides if you
are going to use a 1/8" blade.

Has anyone used the Carter bandsaw stabilizer with this saw?
(that is what I'd tend to think of for really narrow blades)

Oh, and be very careful on tensioning -- doesn't take much to exceed the tension limit on a very narrow blade.

I don't have that band saw but I do have the Carter bandsaw stabilizer guides on another saw and it works great.
