Looking for a replacement filler lid gasket for a Honeywell HUL545W cold air humidifier.
We called Honeywell Customer Support (an oxymoron) and was told that the part is currently out of stock. When we asked for the P.N. we were told they can't provide that information as the part is currently out of stock.
Hmmmm ?
Anyone have this information or a source ?
Thanks

First thought is since it’s just a cap over the fill port, do you need a gasket? If you aren’t moving it around, the water isn’t likely to slosh out. This is especially true if the cap is closing off most of the hole.
If you need a gasket, can you make one by tracing out the old one on a piece of rubber and cutting a new one out?

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

The fill hole is on the bottom of the tank so it definitely needs a gasket.
Making our own gasket is always a possibility. Unfortunately we don't have random pieces of rubber lying about.

We are checking with my local hardware store. Looks like a possible solution.
Thanks for the feedback.

eBay has the entire thing for $13.
A trip to Lowe's for rubber gasket material and 10 minutes of layout and cutting by my wife and we have a nicely sealed cold water mister.
I now have an extra 6" square piece of rubber gasket material for some future use.

Well, 6” of spare rubber gasket material sounds like a full weekend of fun for you two! Lol
I’m glad it worked!
