This is a solid cherry cabinet designed to hold cable box and hide unsightly wires. Finish is BLO and Miniwax wipe-on-poly.

Will the TV sit on top?

TV is mounted on the wall above the fireplace. The cables run through the wall and come out behind the TV.

Nice work, Ed. All solid cherry? Basic, functional, well executed.

Does the remote work through the glass?
Thanks, Curt

In the picture it looks like the cable box is behind glass but actually it is on an open shelf. However, my brother just bought a TV stand where the cable box is behind a glass door. His remote works fine.
