I'm probably just missing it but is there a way to mark a specific forum as READ?

Yes you can. Look towards the top and to the right of any forum home page, there's a 'mark forum as read' button. Don't feel bad, took me forever to find it.

Thanks - I also posted the question in the new software sub forum and found out I needed to change the format I was using.  The mobile format doesn't show the "mark read" options.  I apologize for not updating this question here.

Please do not pop up another HTML form saying "forms marked read" (or whatever)- it just means another page to navigate from with the back button. Just refresh the current pace.
