Has anyone who filed a claim on the dehumidifier recall
(mentioned in this thread, and others)received anything. I did on Nov. 4, and haven't heard a word...not even an acknowledgement I filed a claim. I'm getting ready to do it all over again.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

I should have filed a claim. I think they have quite a while to get back to you about it

It has only been 6 weeks or so since you filed - they usually take three or four months to respond on things like this.

I got a response very soon after filing saying that my application had been accepted, with a confirmation number I believe. I know I printed something out. I also think that correspondence said my new unit should arrived in about 10 weeks. I was just thinking about this yesterday, actually.

Thanks, I think I will resubmit my stuff while I'm still thinking about it.

Fred, I don't think it will let you submit the same S/N twice, so if it accepts your new application it means you were unsuccessful the first time, and the opposite, too.

You are correct , that's exactly what happened. I entered the SN and it replied it's already registered.

Mine was delivered this past week. I sent the request in the day the recall info was posted here.
