Got this in trade from a friend of mine. It's. Late model Norris Smoothing plane with a 2 1/8" iron. This is an usual model because this vintage with the beach infill is usually cast. This one however is dovetailed so it was made during the war with all the late model parts, different lever cap and handle differences. The muth was filled a bit as you can see in the picks. Does not have the supper tight mouths of the earlier one. Still would be a good user, you can shim to close the mouth up more. The after war models had a more open mouth.
