Here is a vase I just finished. It's made of Cherry, Birdseye Maple and Bocote. 544 pieces 24" tall and 16" diameter.

That is a beautiful vase. What is the darker wood in the feature ring?

Whoa boy thats a big un. thought I was the only that thought size mattered in the turning forum lol. The joint alignment looks spot on. Well done.

Yes I do use the Wedgie sled Bob. Much easier than any other method I've found.
