I want to put some Carbon Fiber panels into some cabinet doors. They would basically replace a flat 1/4 piece of plywood or a flat wood panel but add a high tech look. I saw them in a cabinet store but they were selling the full cabinets and I'll be making my own.
Does anyone know of a source for this material?

I used those guys for a backing plate on my sailboat I built. Really nice stuff!

Could you use simulated carbon fiber ? If so some of the automotive trim may work.
HERE is one place. I have had no dealing with this company but used the for what the product is. Roly

How about carbon fiber vinyl film. Fairly cheap, they use it to wrap cars and car parts.

I have used this stuff quite a bit. The bran I use is from a company called my dip kit. The stuff is really easy to use. If you check out YouTube you will see a ton of applications.
