Arlin, I don't want a 100' hose reel. I only want a 50'. I already have a 100' reel in the section of my shop that needs it. It is just a manual wind reel but I use it so infrequently it doesn't matter. I have a relatively new 50' Flexzilla air hose that I either want to get a reel for or just buy a 50' reel set that comes with a Hybrid hose. Right now I think I may just keep my eye on Craigslist and see if I can find a deal on one locally. I'm sure if I patient something will turn up. Either that or I will keep my eye on the Roboreel website for one of the refurbished ones.
I somehow missed those PM's I will send you a message later this evening when I have a few extra minutes to respond.

Here's another wacky suggestion, this reel from HF regularly goes on sale for $59,
https://www.harborfreight.com/38-in-x-50...62344.html , and a 3/8 x 50' Flexzilla hose can be had for around $30. Remove the hose from the HF reel and replace it with the Flexzilla hose and you've got what you want for under $100. Come to think of it, I wish I would have done that.

I have the HF reel for some time now. I just replaced the hose last year.

I just threw one of those out with the trash Wednesday morning. I had it it the old old shop; it always leaked and never rewound correctly. Never moved it to the last shop, but hung it on the wall at this house and never put air to it. Took it down to paint and noticed the rubber hose was cracked all to hell and back. Get you pay for? Maybe I had a bad one.

Thanks to Dave this morning. He found me a deal/steal on a new coxreel in braidwood il. Had a slight bent part that was fixed in 5 minutes. Shipping was crazy ( must be avoiding ebay fees or the used the crazy ebay calc) but they offered free pickup and a buddy was just leaving ohare driving down i55 so he picked it up 3 miles out of his way. $56.
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.

Anybody got a link to what the "good one" might be?????????
I have a HF crank reel that can hold 100'
It's this one right here I have 50" of really good quality rubber hose, that hardly ever comes off, and 50' of Flexilla, which is what I actually end up using, and all is correct in the universe. It does not however auto retract. If something could do that for me, it might be interesting to look at, but the crank works pretty quick, IF you have uncoupled the tool, and it's just dragging the hose.
Worst thing they can do is cook ya and eat ya

The Roboreel will autoretract but does require an outlet near where you mount it as it is motor driven. They make a ceiling version that can use a wall mount bracket and a floor version that can also use a wall mount bracket. Ceiling demo/recertified models are $99 plus shipping on their site and come with a Provost quick attach end. They are 50' long. They also will slow down at a length you set so the transition from horizontal to vertical does not whip the hose when it autoretracts.

Flexzilla products are 20% off at farm and fleet and they ship too. Thread started in the cassified section of the form including link. Cox reel will get a 50' 1/2" flexzlla hose.
