my shop is mostly clean and I still can't do anything. Still more rearranging to do. The metal lathe is going to be in place today and then I'll figure out what to do with the wood lathe.

Be the president of a woodworking club and suggest the meeting topic for next tuesday be virtual shop tours...

my motivation is I promised something would be done and I need to get the shop cleaned up quite a bit to get that to happen.
Metal lathe is in place, now I have to find a place to put the wood lathe temporarily. I think it will fit behind the metal lathe, at least that's the plan. It would be nice to have that on wheels, but that seems like a longer-term project right now. I have put quite a lot of things away thanks to this thread. I'm getting there.

That’s awesome to hear not only am I cleaning up my shop with this thread I can take FULL credit for cleaning many others. LOL. Kidding aside I’m glad to hear others are in the same boat. But same rule applies as always. no pic... didn’t happen. I will post one soon too.

I don't think you are going to get rid of a twist. Can it be cut into shorter or narrower boards that are usable? If not, firewood.
