That’s a good price for houses outside of Boston. Canton is a nice town.

Seems there has been some resolution in this case. Awaiting the info to dribble out.

That sure flew under the radar.  No announcement by either party that I can see.  The article referenced is over a month old.

Sounds like a happy ending...Tommy can now focus on his own projects while FW show can go on. The ultimate winners were clearly the attorneys on both sides.

I wonder if WGBH will resume production now. It wouldn't be a surprise if Fine Woodworking bows out as major sponsor. I expect this lawsuit cost them a pile of money, not only in legal fees.

Just a guess (no insider knowledge) that FW would continue the Rough Cut because it now charges $100(?) annually for access to its digital contents, and Rough Cut is part of the video content there. By keeping the Rough Cut, it has a sure source of some of the videos.

If Tommy could afford his share of legal costs, I don't think FW's would be astronomically high.

I'm sure Tommy didn't directly pay any legal fees, as attorneys take cases like this for a percentage (25-33%) of the settlement. If they don't think you have a case, they won't take it unless there are other reasons (high profile, etc.) to do so. The defendants don't have that option, unless they have also filed a countersuit.
